questions for moms

1. what do you do about vaccines?
2. when did you start your baby on solids...

...we are currently at myka's 4 month check up and this is what's on my mind.

vaccines... we do combo shots... pediarix... etc.. but only do one set at a time... so I go in 2-3 times over 2-3 weeks to get each... if your thinking autism... you have a girl and are pretty darn safe... I have a boy... and am cautious....

solids... when infants start to show an interest... m had 3 teeth at 4 months and 8 teeth at 7 months... so we tried to start some solids around 5 months but he was very very slow to take any of it... and very picky...

welcome to a new chapter of parenthood!

The autism/vaccine link is very much a media and propaganda scare. I have done a lot of research and spent time discussing it with three pediatricians. I now have no qualms about giving vaccines on schedule.

Solid foods- we started rice cereal, apples and sweet potatoes during the 4th month. Just one time a day. Keegan's hefty though and was definitely still hungry, so we needed to add the solids. Not all babies do at 4 months.
