baby sign language

how many of you moms (or dads) out there have taught your infant to sign?
if so...what did you think of the experience...did baby pick it up quickly...did it help baby communicate better later on?
and if not...did you consider it...what made you decide not to?
I'd love any and all input!

a first

Myka's first time in a shopping cart! We were at Micheal's and they were so small...I had to try. I think she was so nervous at first, but then she loved it.

harvest festival

friday night was Fuller's harvest fest. good times had by all!

you answer a few simple body questions...and in minutes you have a ton of jeans that should fit your size...it's at least a starting point and should cut down on changing room time.
note to add...i'm currently wearing the old navy jeans they suggested. does this mean i may have some sense of style??

movie reviews

Matt and I managed to fit 2 movies in this weekend!
First, Death at a Funeral...
absolutely hilarious...but not for the easily offended...it's british...



and second...the diving bell and the butterfly.
it was beautiful, and i think everyone will learn something watching this movie. (and it's in french, so you'll need subtitles)

just had to share

i gave Myka a bath today and since it was a little chilly i pulled out the bathrobe and booties we had yet to use. i couldn't help but laugh as i got her all bundled up...and then watched as she looked at me with this face...














we soon realized all was ok though...
